Senate Conducts Postal Oversight Hearing Focusing on Deteriorating Performance
Today, April 16, 2024, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Govermental Affairs conducted a consequential hearing examining eroding performance and financial conditions within the United States Postal Service (USPS). Committee Chairman Gary Peters (D-MI) led the hearing. Witnesses included Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, USPS Chairman of the Board Roman Martinez IV, Postal Regulatory Committee Chairman Michael Kubayanda, and Postal Inspector General Tammy Hull.
