Newsbreak: 2021 Legislative Training Seminar (LTS) Cancelled
Due to the continued uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the best interest for the safety and health of NAPS members, auxiliary, and guests the in-person Legislative Training Seminar (LTS) for 2021 has been cancelled.
In lieu of an actual 2021 LTS, NAPS’ Legislative Team is coordinating the development and scheduling virtual legislative training via Webinars or Zoom in 2021. The virtual legislative training will focus on grassroots advocacy and important legislation impacting NAPS and its members.
NAPS will publish its annual legislative brief and respective talking points for 2021. The legislative brief, talking points and congressional district economic impact statements will be posted on the NAPS website, naps.org for members to download, study and share with their local Congressional District representatives.
Throughout 2021 the NAPS Legislative Team will promote donations to the Supervisors Political Action Committee (SPAC) via virtual fundraising. NAPS is scheduled to resume its in-person LTS at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia in 2022.
