The National Association of Postal Supervisors is deeply saddened by the tragic news of the violence at the Lamar Annex of the Memphis Post Office. We stand in mourning for the lives lost in this senseless act and the devastated families that have been left behind to grieve.
The challenges of delivering America's mail through the adversities of a worldwide pandemic and the ever-changing and demanding conditions of America’s Post Office can be overwhelming at times. NAPS calls for all USPS employees to look for new ways of relating to one another as we seek to continue binding our nation together through mail delivery.
We remain in solemn prayer for these families, and our Postal family as well in this time of sorrow.
God bless the United States Postal Service, and God bless America.
In Solidarity.
