H.R. 2337 was introduced by Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA). The bill would help to alleviate the impact of the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) on certain CSRS annuitants who are also eligible for Social Security. H.R. 2337 would provide a $150 per month rebate to individuals who reach the age of 62 prior to 2023, and would alter the formula to reduce the impact for WEP for CSRS annuitants who reach the age of 62 after January 1, 2023.
