NAPS is sad to announce the passing of former NAPS National Secretary/Treasurer, Adolph A. Ruiz, Jr.

Adolph A. Ruiz, Jr. became a member of NAPS in 1968.  He was first elected to the NAPS Executive Board in January of 1976 as Rocky Mountain Area Vice President.  In December 1981 Adolph was elevated to the position of Western Region National Vice President.  At the 1982 National Convention, Adolph was elected national treasurer.  He was reelected national treasurer at national conventions in 1984, 1986, 1988 and 1990.

At the 1992 national convention in Louisville, KY, Adolph was elected to the position of national secretary.  At the 1994 national convention in Buffalo, NY, the office of national secretary and the office of treasurer were combined and Adolph was elected to the office of Secretary/Treasurer.  Adolph served the NAPS organization proudly as a Resident Officer until his retirement at the 2000 NAPS National Convention.

Adolph was a resident of Lakewood, Colorado at the time of his passing.  NAPS send its deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire Adolph Ruiz family.
